Permitted Technique Mixed Martial Arts (MMA):

  1. Western style boxing.
  2. Kickboxing.
  3. Grappling
  4. Knee to head and body whilst standing.
  5. Throwing opponent to ground.
  6. Ground and Pound.
  7. Jiu Jitsu techniques
  8. Judo Throws.
  9. Arm Bar.
  10. Guillotine Choke.
  11. Body Slam.
  12. Rear Choke
  13. Mounting opponent strike to face.
  14. Clinching/standing submissions are legal

Fouls:

1) Butting with head.
2) Eye gouging.
3) Biting.
4) Hair pulling.
5) Fish hooking.
6) Groin attack of any kind.
7) Poking finger into orifice or into any cut or laceration on a opponent.
8) Small joint manipulation.
9) Striking to spine or back.
10) Striking down ward using the point of elbow.
11) Throat strikes of any kind, including, without limitation, grabbing the crutch.
12) Clawing pinching or twisting the flesh.
13) Grabbing the clavicle.
14) Kicking or kneeing the head of a grounded opponent.
15) Stomping a grounded opponent.
16) Kicking to the kidney with the heel.
17) Spiking an opponent to the canvas on his head or neck.
18) Throwing opponent out of ring or Cage.
19) Holding shorts or gloves of opponent.
20) Spitting at opponent.
21) Engaging in an un-sportsman like conduct that causes injury to opponent.
22) Holding ropes or Cage.
23) Using abusive language in the ring or Cage area.
24) Attacking opponent on or during break.
25) Attacking a opponent under the care of the referee.
26) Attacking an opponent after the bell has sounded the end of the period of unarmed combat.
27) Disregarding the instructions of the referee.
28) Timidity, including without limitation, avoiding contact with an opponent, intentionally or consistently dropping the mouth piece or faking injury.
29) Interference by the corner/Throwing in towel during competition.

Bout Duration:

-All non- championship Amateur bouts shall be 2 x3mins or 3x3mins
-Amateur titles 2x5mins ~ 1min rest


Professional Championship Bouts:

- 2 x 5min rounds ~ 1 min or 2 min rest
- 3 x 5min rounds ~ 1min or 2 min rest
- 5 x 5min rounds ~ 1min or 2 min rest

Ways to win:

-Submission by physical tap out or Verbal Tap out.
-Technical Knockout by the referee stopping the contest.
-Decision via the score cards.
-Scoring by using the 10 must system with 3 judges.
